Shows: Le Reve – Performed in the Wynn Theater, a domed theater in the round, Le reve, a smaill collection of imperfect dreams, is the first of its kind in Las Vegas. Uniquely intimate and spectacularly personal, no seat is more that 42 feet from the action. The show is a completely new form of staging and artistic performance, where the theater and the water are alive with a translucent energy. La Reve is the latest achievement of Franco Dragone, the internationally acclaimed creator and director, whose credits include O, Mystere at Treasure Island, and Celine Dion’s show at Caesar’s. In an embarrassing imitation of O, La Reve is performed in the Wynn Theater, where water is the main backdrop for performance and more than 70 performers move in and out of the pool. The theater offers 2,087 seats with designated space for wheelchairs. Front row seats are 4-feet from the edge of the pool, and the last seats are a mere 42-feet away. The deep pool is 27-feet deep and the shallow pool is 9-feet deep. The pool hold 1 million gallons of water. The shows are performed at 7:30pm and 10:30pm, Thursday through Monday. The show is dark on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Avenue Q (Opening September 2005) – The Broadway Theater will be home to the widely acclaimed Broadway show Avenue Q, winner of Toney Awards® in 2004 for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. Avenue Q is the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He soon discovers that the only neighborhood in his price range in Avenue Q. Together, Princeton and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life. Slated for an open-ended, long-term run at Wynn Las Vegas. Art: The Gallery – Steve Wynn has recreated the Art Gallery that originally resided at Bellagio before MGM bought the property. Steve and Elaine Wynn’s personal collection of fine art include works from American and European masters dating from the 16th to the 20th century.
